In Another Day

in another day we will spend
what we will have saved
and in another day
I will have given to someone
all I could have gave
been the artisan of my dreams
and made all that I can make
in selfish uncompromising moods
we take all we can take
and in a mood we brood
waiting for another day
to take away all that is bad
to take us away
stop us feeling so sad
stop us from being pale
in another day
they things are not stale
when things seem to come right
in another day
not another night
