Sugar in My Tea

I miss the company
as shallow as that is
that is the truth really
if only I could find a way to give
it is stretching out before us
it is a new way to live
it is rolling by, past the side
I miss the sugar
that I used to have in my tea
and at the time
it was comfort for me
to have them on my mind
and that is what I miss
