Cradle the Future – Written Saturday 13th January 2013 (Aged 37)

Cradle the Future

how does it feel
missing people day to day
life moves on
creating shapes
sometimes leaving us
confused by fate
people who –
quite literally need you
losing part of you
changing perspectives
i wish feelings,
those emotions –
would flow more easily
and reach my fingertips
if only!
just so you could feel them
and feel the hope
believe me,
i cradle the future

James Garratt – Saturday 12th January 2013
