Progression

they do not realise
that the
thing they profess to hate
is the very thing
that has given
them the privilege
and freedom to express
that view
if only they knew?
that the greatest failing
as we cling to the railing
is that people
make friends
but they fail to see life
in more than one lens
if i am okay…
if i did okay…
then everyone else can do it
right?
not understanding that
it is,
not a level playing field
or that,
equality is equality for all
perhaps, a lack of critical thinking?
that critically,
leaves the rest of us sinking
