Free Wheeling Carnage

i could wonder –
about those years
should i be ashamed –
of what i felt
i became sad
i tried to speak to someone –
yesterday
but in their own kind of way
they turned me away
who can blame them?
no one would look at me –
and say –
very matter of fact
i would ever behave like that
and that must be true
so i must live –
with a certain view
and the people caught –
in my free wheeling carnage
there are no real reasons
certainly no advantage
it hurts me –
and embarrasses me –
that i behaved as i did
now i live with what happens –
when you dare to lift the lid
