Social Construction

i listen to them talking
about their lives
skating with their husband
acting as, ‘wives’
tasks and activities achieved
rolled out to other, ‘women’
these men,
who become husband,
then, ‘hubby’
walking round a county show
and living in a cubby
there is experience
that life takes in its path
even if fairytales
sometimes fall by the wayside
there is a desire for social construction
