I Shape All These Lovers

i am judges on how i live
i judge others
i take it out in the garden
i shape all these lovers
who pick flowers
and sell them on
to those who have lost their way
i strangulated words
with nothing else to say

i am judged on how i live
i judge others
living as we do
under fire, under cover
a suburb of net curtain twitchers
is that why husbands
drink beer by the pitcher?
you may think
you are decent and proper
but i remain unconvinced
i took your values
to a place yet unknown
and they did not even feel
