tired today
watched the news
this madness swirls around us now
morality and compassion saves us
but it is not enough
to cause a tsunami of truth –
and wash away the devilment –
that we find
crowding our streets and towns
talking about it at work
and outside the fish and chip van today
whatever you voted…
they know we are in trouble
