When the Fruit Falls
i give too much
but i take it back
when the fruit falls
and becomes bruised
i open up –
as if i have nothing to lose
maybe who i open up to –
is something i need to choose
but i take it back
when the fruit falls
and becomes easily bruised
people can get so much of me
assuming, that’s all there is
i am a personality of festivals
each with different gifts
do not think my train like emotions
exist to give others a lift
or that i am just the one list
i give too much
but i take it back
when the fruit falls
and becomes easily bruised
for some –
they must feel so confused
