Perhaps it is You?

perhaps it is you
why must it be me
ever considered yourself
have you?
perhaps we do not understand
as much as we think we do
perhaps it is you
why i am difficult
and you are not
just because you did not understand
does not make it wrong
or even offensive
looking at ourselves
in many different lights
the colours only tell us
that it is hard to be wrong or right
perhaps it is me
but consider it all
there is me
another is you
why must i be the problem
what makes you exempt?
