Let’s Plant Seeds

the soil is rich
let’s plant seeds
the world is hungry
the world is starving
for food and hope
no one heeds the warnings
we just watch the smoke
the countryside burns
there must be lessons
that have to be learnt
the soil is rich
let’s plant the seeds
that grow a good future
tomorrow is the day
that you plan for
and when it comes
so often,
it is not like the one before
so you think of tomorrow
and hope it will be better
the soil is rich
