Leaving in a Taxi Cab
another situation
with the bare bones exposed
i will leave in a taxi cab
when it is time to go
another situation,
where someone else was a little strange
no more calling me
i will forget their name
when the flesh of hope is consumed
by a fiery rune
i will catch a taxi cab
and i will be home soon
let the strange lick their wounds
let them nest out of sight
let them stalk other people
let them befriend the night
another situation,
where it did not go right
where it fell to pieces
and solutions were beyond sight
