Wrap Me Up

i do not need to be stylized in grief
wrap me up like a child
wrap me up in your belief
everything may take a while
but i am sure it will be fine
i do not need the pain and the strain
from people playing a game
i do not need letters in the past
from people who never respected me

wrap me up like a friend
wrap me up in your belief
some people give you so much
some people just seem like a thief
i do not want all the strain
everything may take a while
but i am sure it will be fine
you know how it is
these things just take a little time
