I Look For The Connection

i look for the connection
i have never had
a turntable
or just the train to catch
coming or going
i am coming back
i wonder how –
long you could wait
and i wonder –
how many platforms
you could stand on
even, what if you are late
and the train has already gone
maybe –
i am in the wrong place
maybe there are many connections
and if we look too hard
we find too many directions
or is it –
there are too many selections?
