Skipping Rope

so many people
have passed
through these words
this,
weaving life
this hopeless dreamer
that reaches so high
this,
sweet hello
married to a sorrowful goodbye
so many people
have pledged
what they could not offer
but then,
how can i blame them
when i have often
dome exactly the same
it is all these emotions
all these thoughts in my brain
the belief that we are close
to being insane
so many people
but so many with a skipping rope
deep inside my care
