Conversations We Used to Have

i cannot help feeling down
when i read
the conversations
we used to have
i feel sad
for people and relationships
i am no longer close to
what can i say
what can i do
i saw your picture with someone else
how i used to feel you
but i had to let it go
feelings never subsided
and now… i will never know
i look back
and now i start to think
i pause for a second
as thoughts begin to sink
i cannot help feeling down
perhaps now
i am at the place
where i am me
i feel so down
i need to set this feeling free
