Amber

in the things i have done
i can see mistakes
i can see bad times and lucky breaks
i can see you in amber
frozen in time forever
colouring my memories
in the things i have done
you shine so brightly
i do not take this thing lightly
forever i will live with you in my mind
happiness is a treasure
we all seek to find
when fine it, it is a real pleasure
but when you have to give it away
the memories still remain
forever frozen within your brain
i will always see you now
even though at present things are spoilt
i will always see you in amber
in the things i have done
you will remain a high point
one of those things i have done
that gave me the most
now you are in amber
and the best things are lost
but you will always be there
