Feelings Have Taken Me Hostage

feelings have taken me hostage
i would like to say
that it was against my will
but all this fighting
cannot hide how i feel
feelings have started a riot
i would like to say
that i will not join in
but the emotion is tempting
and ultimately it was
feelings have boarded my vessel
i would like to say
that i tried to resist
but no amount of protesting
stops my heart as it starts to skip
