Making Out
we make like we are really scared
scared to be fashionable
you should see what we wear
we make our lives tough
and come in from the rain
when it gets tough
and turn away from the pain
when the weather is rough
scared to be honest
with our feelings
scared to show respect
wear your feelings
just like a beautiful necklace
you have round your neck
we are scared of it
we have seen you as you care
but i would not want your stuff
if i have got it coming
then i will be ready
and stop the petty wondering
just be steady
and stop insensitive blundering
scared to move and scared to stay
well, we will just go our own way
