Searching for Roads
there must be a better way for me and you
what we do is just another version
of two kids holding hands
my mind reflects on the past
seems to be like a heavy talisman
hanging around our necks
if seeing is believing then looking
is going to let you down
i cannot see my feelings
yet i believe in them intently
they rarely make sense
but they are constantly there
there must be more roads ahead
cannot forget what we must do
i am totally lost within you
it has been a hard week
but i cannot think too much
just look out of the window
and hope that there must be a better way
a better way for me and you
perhaps a better way for all of us
life is living and breathing
and a feeling is a special touch
so reach out and do not look in
then we can think and begin
we will find a better way
it just does not end here
there is always another day
