Say Sorry – (Originally Untitled) – Written April 2005 (Aged 30)

Say Sorry

you asked me to let go
say sorry,
and you will melt the snow
an anger inside
is just a fire
that never truly dies
say sorry,
and see what you can find
i should not hang on,
i know,
i really should let go
say sorry,
and you will melt the snow
the blossom has all gone
and the flowers have wilted
hope and expectation arrived
but just got jilted
you asked me to let go
say sorry
and you will melt the snow
