Johnnie Walker
johnnie walker
took him eventually
i was quite young
let me think
i was still able to fabricate my dreams
so i must have been about thirteen
johnnie walker
came and took him away
it was the end cause
of a host of problems
to tell the truth, i was quite bored
all you see at the bottom of a glass
is yourself
strangely alcohol is not a magic potion
that turns you into somebody else
johnnie walker
came,
not so much one day
though in time,
it seems so suddenly
and then he took him away
a thirst that had no quench
and i have to say
he did not put up much resistance
johnnie walker
who would have thought it
that they, would take him away
