Close Your Eyes

close your eyes
let things go
explore all that you know
close your eyes
let reality drift away
it has been done before
now do it today
everyone seems to be talking
talking about bad things
war, death, sudden ends
loneliness, murder, depression
having no friends
and this is the young
just for once, drift back
back to your childhood
remember how in the bad times
you would always escape
from the pressure of everything
where your world would wait
try it again, close your eyes
get away from the real nightmare
close your eyes, it is all about escapism
drift away, it is all waiting there
give up the realism
let the real world die
if only for a short time
close your eyes
