Sometime Never

when are we going to get it together
sometime never?
sometime maybe?
you have got to keep on the right track
you are going down a hard road
i know you will make it back
you have that special quality to survive
it is not that, that you lack
i watched the television last night
my eyes watched the pictures
but my mind was sneaking off with you
i have spent a lifetime listening to lectures
about the way i should be
i have tried more things than i ever imagined
sometimes i wonder why i listened
when are we going to get better
sometime never?
sometime in the future ?
