In What You Believe

i have got write out –
all the things in my head
to stop your imagination
trying to killing your soul dead
so many people carry on inside our minds
so much paradise to be found
inside our minds
i have just about got a book of words
tales of a life from a certain point of view
that seem to have been learnt
i have got to chuck out the rubbish
before it all gets burnt
but as the rubbish comes out
as it tumbles and falls
i realise that often the stuff in our minds –
can be often made into something beautiful
it is a case of learning to change it
having the confidence to believe
in what you really believe
that is the trick you have got to see
