Soul Searcher

ever seen a soul searcher?
ever seen a lonely person –
crying by the side of the road
the successful person grins
some are grateful,
some are just toads who get under our skin
ever seen a soul searcher?
that person who puts money,
below certain things
who knows if it is just one kind of security
who understands feelings
who would not mind being rich
but knows they have got to have a strong mind
because life can be a real bitch
ever seen a soul searcher?
searching for that inner peace
that money can never buy
when you find it,
you know you will never again cry
