Can You See the Night Sky?

hello,
can you see the night sky?
the moon sits low
and stars smile back at you
reality,
has many guises
and it reaches down
to spring sudden surprises

hello,
welcome to the world
defined only by the state of your mind
can you see the night sky?
it looks back at you
and reminds you of the vast empty space
did you want this?
this sequenced world
of dream laden journeys
caught between sequined clouds

say hello,
to the soft furnishings of your mind
the playpens of hope
and the barbeques of undulating smoke
this is it,
say hello,
to a world worked in many shifts
