Proposition

i do not know why i said what i did
i meant it and i am glad you came
i do not know who you, only who i fell for
i really hope they are one and the same
it does not seem relevant but it does
i can only tell you how i feel
is it, or can it ever be enough
i know i am in it deep this time
i am risking everything for a little hope
a chance that things that will be fine
is it you i see, or are you hiding behind a cloak?
is that dry ice i see, or is it real smoke?
i do not know why i said what i did
i am glad i did, but i am not sure why
we can only but try
