All Those Years Ago

all those years ago
all that time ago
it seems so far away now
it has long since been new
but i am glad we stayed
i am glad we grew
all those years ago
meeting for the first time
hurting for the first time
but still here for each other
some way down the line
it has got to be acknowledged
that we never got delayed
that through everything
we stayed
but it seems so long now
all those years ago
