to be loved
you have to learn to love
others and yourself
you cannot expect it all
something for nothing
you get what you give out
life may an eternal mystery
but that much is true
to be loved
you have to learn to love
you cannot receive love
if you are not prepared to give
no one is going to hold you
paint you rainbows
and light that soul fire glow
to be loved
you have to learn to love
others and those close
and most of all, yourself
others may have a life,
which resembles a living ghost
a body, which is just a hollow host
