I Watched You Dance

i stood by the back door
i lent against the frame
i watched you dance
and the sun go down on your smile
after a while i heard music
i lent against the frame
i watched you dance
and as i caught my breath
i felt the power of your name
it wrapped its arms around my frame
i watched you dance
and as the sun went up
our love melted and thawed
with me in awe
leaning on the frame
of our french doors
i watched you dance
