A Bundle of Nerves

i felt for you yesterday –
a bundle of nerves
and held in such strong emotions
i wanted to put –
my arms around you
but i know –
you just wanted –
a sense of normality
i saw the sadness
draw the blinds –
in your eyes
you are such an emotional soul
you can never hide
i looked out of the window
and saw the crowds
in amongst which –
you stood out
a bundle of nerves
and held in such strong emotions
you are my feelings
i wanted to hold you
and count the flowers on our ceiling
