Sea Lion’s Applaud You

i just lost faith
i saw the sea lion’s –
applauding you
and having experienced you
and what you are
and how different –
this is to what you portray
i have never had much faith
in the things you say

i just lost faith
i saw the sea lion’s –
lap up your every word
that is no surprise
they had never got over the hurt
and you are the pied piper
as they hand on your words
sea lion’s just applauding
the truth far away
i lost faith
and realised there was no point anyway
