The Alligators – Written Sunday 30th September 2001 (Aged 26)

The Alligators

listened to the television
read the newspaper
this i will turn off
and watch it later
listened to people
and we are so scared
there are to many war games
and we will never be prepared
they toy with our future
like it is a toy
we edge towards the edge
wondering about their ploy
listened to the television
read the newspaper
find me a different medium
this i ill watch it later
i used to be wary of the sharks
now we face the alligators
and we are so scared
