Meeting Up
it felt strange
seeing you again
adding cocktails
to my brain
it felt right
sat there in sunlight
that almost blinded
to the staircase unwinded
what can you offer me –
this time around?
once again
who will be there with banners
saying, friends…
what ride will you offer me
and should i hold on
knowing that so soon
you will be gone
