Tin Tray
there is never an even keel
for what you feel
never a life moment
for when emotions
are not trying to bang you over the head
with an old tin tray
when i was young
in those far flung days
i believed emotionally,
there was a way out of the maze
not realising,
there no situation, no person,
no object or thing
that would steam roller those emotions
and make them find a field
from which, solid foundations i could build
it would appear that if you dare to peek
emotions,
would rather play hide and seek
fail and let it weep
be alert then fall asleep
be strong when assurity is weak
be found and find something to keep
there is never an even keel
for what you feel
no moment when rabid emotions
will not hold you and move in for the kill
