Saddened – Written Wednesday Thursday 13th September 2000 (Aged 25)

Saddened

saddened by its death
iits ashes and embers
and its fading breath
speak to you tomorrow
has become, speak to you sometime…
and sadly i am no longer on your mind
i cannot forgive you
have tried but it goes too deep inside
you turned me away
i could have been such a good friend
i cannot forgive you
i am sad for you
how many people have you turned away?
you said that you respected me
is this how you treat those you respect?
it hurts, i thought we were going to make it
even as friends…
but from sixteen to now you just have not changed
i cannot forgive you
you have lost me as a friend
you are callous and i do not respect you
i guess, eventually, everything must end
