Illusions
no illusions
let’s look at where we are
cross the bridge
put bread on the table
sit the children down
read them a story
tell them about our age
tell them there is no glory
society has sold its vanity
and vanity lies with insanity
no illusions
let’s take on the change
let’s take on the past
do you know who we are fighting?
please enlighten me
please do not frighten me
cross the road
do not feel so alone
