Knees Look Less Grazed
my knees looks less grazed
these blue eyes look less glazed
this future seeking mind
so much less amazed
my tendency to see it as a phase
must vanish in a haze
i need windows of thought
i am in need of being caught
my hands are stills scarred
and my nails badly bitten
but with you i have been taken
and properly smitten
when we feel the cold
let’s share each others mittens
