Your Touch – Wednesday 1st August 1999 (Aged 24)

Your Touch

i try to think –
to think of your touch
your touch must be real
the realness i need to feel
feel like it is an age away
i try to think –
of you next to me
of us blending our realities
of moving minds like worlds
so they orbit the same sun
i try to think –
of the day we meet
in a lonely airport lounge
and onto the winter streets
the eyes taking it all in
i try to think –
of this special day
it does seem so far away
i have so much time till then
cannot wait till then
but wait i must
i try to think –
of your special touch
