Hollow – Written Between Tuesday 15th February 1994 and October 1994 (Aged 18/19)

Hollow

life can go and screw itself
it cares for no one
not even itself,
it kicks you when you are down
beats you,
when you are standing up
and spits at you,
when no one is around
life can go and screw itself
i do not understand
why it takes people
who do not deserve to be taken
why it breaks people
who do not deserve to be broken
life is shit, really shit
it is the justice is deals out
its just not fair
it is inhaling on a constant joint
we all might as well be dead
what is the bloody point
life is fed by society
its an evil influence
we got too mixed up
we no longer know the difference
and the people who say they do
are blind and lost
a little more than me and you
life can take a running jump
i wish society would follow
perhaps if society went first
life would not be so hollow
