Zig Zag – Written Monday 4th June 2006 (Aged 31)

Zig Zag

i am the zig zag line
no definite stroke
just a dream like state of mind
murky half genius
direction hard to find

i am the zig zag line
clever, good at going forwards
just a dream like state of mind
hopes hopeless cause
how my stars occasionally twinkle and shine

i am the zig zag line
here, there and nowhere
just a dream like state of mind
halfway to success
the other half, harder to find

i am the zig zag line
and now i must straighten up
this definite direction i need to find
decisions to be made
this mountain, i have to climb

no longer, now my time has come
i need to make up my mind
i have spent a ‘zillion’ years
and i know,
i can no longer just be the zig zag line
