If Someone Cannot Find Your Beauty
if someone cannot find your beauty
find the warmth in your hands
who fault is that?
how much blame do you apportion
if someone cannot find your jewel
find the shine that you have
whose fault is that?
how many times do you try
i showed them to the threshold
and welcomed them in
removed the barriers
of course some barriers are built within
if someone cannot find your best
find the laughter you have
whose fault is that?
if time and time again
you, tell them, other people tell them
even strangers tell them
yet they still fail to connect
whose fault is that?
all you can do is only ever try your best
