Soulmates Part 2

i am so touched
by your gesture
older, not sure if wiser
maybe a little more grey
i am so touched
that you came all this distance
struggled to find the words to say
to travel all that way
just for our big day
i was taken aback
to a time many, many years ago
when we first found the path
along the way some tears
but so much that made us laugh
i am so touched
that you would come all this way
they say you cannot measure friendship
perhaps that is true
i think about all the smiles
to cover all that distance
perhaps i should measure it in miles
i am so touched
and for one, i truly know
that i am truly blessed
