Toys Out of the Pram
they threw all the toys –
out of their pram
when told that what they wanted
could not be had
they stamped their feet
the insults they threw were low
hard to believe someone is an adult
when they are more suited to a baby grow
they screamed –
and they threw a tantrum
when they could not get what they wanted
it was pointless trying to be truthful
as their sanity had already vaulted
and like a vicious dog
the softer winter coat just molted
they threw all their toys
and spat like –
and ill mannered child
they stamped their feet
and the things we said, they came back to bite
it was the emotional immaturity
it was a symptom of their life
