This Day, That Day
this day, that day
count the hours
they all seem the same
too many problems
not nearly enough solutions
too many people
hung up on unimportant jobs
enforcing rules that need not exist
these people locked into a world
that would never be missed
too many hours
for a boring day
each one going to a paupers grave
never known, never visited
people with hope
can be hung by an invisible rope
which they never wanted
but choice can be limited
when you are backed into a corner
this day, that day
