Looking For Me
i stared at my reflection
it looked lovingly at me
how can i be alone
when there seems to be another me
another chance in another reality
my reflection was pale
but it was not gaunt
it told of time and things that had failed
but it was quiet like me
it did not scream and it did not wail
i stared at my reflection
and boldly touched the glass
even if the mirror became fragmentations
still i could not go into that world
my reflection almost seemed the same
i wondered if it ever felt the same
