The Love of Your Life

the love of your life
a broken white horse
and a half hearted knight
the piece of cake
the one never really eaten
the punishment hard to take
none of us want to be beaten
the love of your life
it was easier as a child
all i could do was fly my kite
the coin in the slot
the amusement of this place
you will not be forgot
the love of your life
the chess game with no score
you be the queen
i will try not to be a bore
the love of my life
i am starting to hear a call
time to wake up
time to step into the hall
