Hope – Written Between February and June 1995 (Aged 20)

Hope

good last night
left wondering about today
i hope you are feeling secure
i hope you are feeling okay
i hope there is a future
and i hope there is a way
saw you last night,
radiant in your circle of friends
it was your night
i was happy just to watch
they needed you,
much more than i needed you
so i watched and i waited
as it all came together
