Birds Headed South
people –
convinced they are, ‘normal’
they,
pour me an orange juice
peel my fruit
and tell me,
the truth always looks so cute
people –
can you really believe it
convinced they are, ‘normal’
tell me,
about the childhood
that built –
you a treehouse
as the birds happily headed south
